152. Remember Me and I'll remember you,
And give Me thanks, and do not be ingrate, untrue.

153. Believers, fortify yourselves,
With patience and with prayer,
For God's indeed with those
Who patiently forbear.

154. And do not say "They're dead" of those
Slain while they did for Allah strive;
Nay, nay! They are alive;
Only you can't perceive.

155. We often test you with some fear and famine,
Some loss of property and lives and crops;
Yet give good tidings to the man,
Who most patiently with them copes;

156. Who says, when some misfortunes on him strike:
"We are of God, and to Him we go back!"

157. Upon such people will be blessings,
And Mercy from their Lord; those are the ones
Upon the guided track.

158. Some symbols are Safa and Marwah,1
Only consecrated by Allah,
Therefore, it shall not be a sin,
Upon observing Hajj 2 or Umrah,3

1. Names of two hills near Mecca.

2. The pilgrimage to the House of God in the appointed season.

3. Paying a visit to the House of God at any other time.
