Fazlollah Nikayin, The Quran; The First Poetic Translation (2000)
147. The Truth is from your Lord; therefore be not,
Ever in doubt.
148. Each person has a destination,1
To which he turns;2 thus try to race each other,
In doing righteous works, for wheresoever,
You be, Allah will bring you all together;
Everything's under God's dominion.
149. Whatever place you go to, turn your face
Towards the Holy Shrine, for it's a true
Bid from your Lord, and God is never heedless
Of what you do.
150. So from whatever place you come, do turn
Your face towards the Holy Shrine,
And where you are, do turn your faces thither,
That people have no argument against
You all, except it's from the most unjust
Among them: yet of them you shall not ever
Have any fear; fear Me alone,
And I'll perfect on you my favour,
That you may be guided aright,
151. Even as We sent to you a Messenger,
Of your own people to recite,
To you Our verses, and to purify
You, and instruct you in the Scripture,3
And in the Wisdom, and to be a teacher
Of things you'd never known.
