They prayed: "Our Lord, accept this from us,
You do Hear all and You Know all;
128. "Our Lord, make us submissive to your Will,1
And, from amongst our offspring, raise a nation,
Of true submitters to Yourself,2
Show us the ways and rites of our devotion,
And turn to us in kind redemption, It's
You indeed who is Redeeming, Full of Compassion;
129. "Our Lord, send forth to them a messenger,
Of their own kind, who shall unto them read,
Your revelations, and instruct them in,
The Scripture and the Wisdom, and indeed,
Purify them, for only You it is,
Who are All-Powerful, All-Wise.
130. Who would renounce the faith of Abraham,
But fools who cheat their souls with folly? Him,
We'd chosen for Our service in this world,
And in the next, he will be honoured,
To join the ranks of the most righteous.
131. Behold, His Lord said unto him:
"Be in submission!"
He said: "I'm all submission to,
The Lord of all Creation".
132. Abraham did the same enjoin,
