Till God enforces His intent; For God's Omnipotent.
110. And keep up prayers and pay zakaat,
You'll find with God, whatever good,
That you have for your souls, sent forward,
For God's the Seer of your every deed.
111. They claim: "No one enters the Garden,1
Unless he be a Jew",2 or "Christian."3
Such is their wishful thinking!
Say: Do produce your proof,
If it's the truth you're speaking."
112. Of course, whoever does devote himself
Absolutely to God, and leads a life
Of righteous doings, will receive his prize,
From his own Lord; he'll have no fears,
Nor shall he ever come to grief.
113. The Jewish people say: "The Christians
Have naught to stand upon",
The Christians say: The Jews have naught
To stand upon, and both intone
The Scriptures; while, forsooth,
Those of no knowledge,4 say the same of both!
Allah will judge about their disputation,
Upon the Day of Resurrection.
114. Who are more wicked than the men
1. Paradise.
2. According to Jews.
3. According to the Christians.
4. The pagans.
