Fazlollah Nikayin, The Quran; The First Poetic Translation (2000)

Only for disbelievers.

25. But give good news to those who have believed,
And did good works, that surely they've deserved
Gardens with running streams:
Each time they are provided with a portion
Of fruits therein, they utter "why, we were
Provided with such fruits before!"
Because the likes of them are to them given;
Therein they will have spouses chaste and pure,
And there they will abide for ever.

26. Certainly God does not disdain to cite,
Any examples, from a gnat and smaller;
The faithful know that these are certain truths
From their own Lord, but disbelievers utter:
"What does God mean by such a parable?
He guides as many people
As He leads into error!"
Nay, by them He misleads,
Only the evil-doers,

27. Who violate the covenant of God,
After confirming it, and those who sever,
What God commanded to be joined,
And spread corruption in the land;
These are indeed the losers.

28. How could you disbelieve in Allah,
When you were lifeless, and He did
Bring you to life; and later on,
He'll cause you to be dead,
To bring you back to life again,
