Sura 1
The Opening
(Al-Faatiha)
1. In the Name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful
2. All praise be unto God the One,1
The Lord of all Dominion,
3. The Most Beneficent, Most Clement,
4. The Sovereign of the Day of Judgment.
5. You only do we worship,
And unto "You alone,
Do we appeal for help.
6. Direct us to the Direct Path,
7. The path of people You have blessed,
Who were not objects of Your Wrath,
Nor Strayers lost.
1. Allah.
