Ali Quli Qarai, The Qur’ān with a Phrase-by-Phrase English Translation (2005)

Do not increase the wrongdoers in anything but error.’
25 They were drowned because of their iniquities,
then made to enter a Fire,
and they did not find for themselves
any helpers besides Allah.
26 And Noah said, ‘My Lord!
‘Do not leave on the earth
any inhabitant from among the faithless.
27 If You leave them, they will lead astray Your servants
and will not beget except vicious ingrates.
28 My Lord! Forgive me and my parents,
and whoever enters my house in faith,
and the faithful men and women,
and do not increase the wrongdoers in anything
except ruin.’

72. Sūrat al-Jinn 1

In the Name of Allah,
the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.

1 Say, ‘It has been revealed to me
that a team of the jinn listened [to the Qur’ān],
and they said, “Indeed we heard a wonderful qur’ān,2
2 which guides to rectitude.
Hence we have believed in it
and we will never ascribe any partner to our Lord.
3 Exalted be the majesty of our Lord,
