148. Allah does not love the public utterance of hurtful speech, unless (it be) by one to whom injustice has been done; and Allah is Hearing, Knowing.

149. If you do good openly or do it in secret or pardon an evil, then surely Allah is Pardoning, Powerful.

150. Surely those who disbelieve in Allah and His apostles and1 (those who) desire to make a distinction between Allah and His apostles and say: We believe in some and disbelieve in others; and desire to take a course between (this and) that.

151. These it is that arc truly unbelievers, and We have prepared for the unbelievers a disgraceful chastisement.

152. And those who believe in Allah and His apostles and do not make a distinction between any of them — Allah will grant them their rewards; and Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.

Section 22

153. The followers of the Book ask you to bring down to them a book from heaven; so indeed
