Ali Quli Qarai, The Qur’ān with a Phrase-by-Phrase English Translation (2005)

[a greeting] from the People of the Right Hand!
92 But if he be of the impugners,
the astray ones,
93 then a treat of boiling water
94 and entry into hell.1
95 Indeed this is certain truth.
96 So celebrate the Name of your Lord, the All-supreme!

57. Sūrat al-Ḥadīd 2

In the Name of Allah,
the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.

1 Whatever there is in the heavens glorifies Allah
and [whatever there is on] the earth
and He is the All-mighty, the All-wise.
2 To Him belongs the kingdom of the heavens
and the earth:
He gives life and brings death,
and He has power over all things.
3 He is the First and the Last,
the Manifest and the Hidden,
and He has knowledge of all things.
4 It is He who created the heavens and the earth
in six days;
then settled on the Throne.
He knows whatever enters the earth
and whatever emerges from it

1 Or ‘roasting in hell.’

2 The sūrah takes its name from verse 25, which mentions iron (ḥadīd).
