Ali Quli Qarai, The Qur’ān with a Phrase-by-Phrase English Translation (2005)

to remain in them [forever],
a hospitality from Allah;
and what is with Allah is better for the pious.
199 Indeed among the People of the Book
there are surely some who have faith in Allah,
and in what has been sent down to you,
and in what has been sent down to them.
Humble toward Allah,
they do not sell the signs of Allah for a paltry gain.
They shall have their reward near their Lord;
indeed Allah is swift at reckoning.

200 O you who have faith!
Be patient, stand firm,
and close [your] ranks,
and be wary of Allah so that you may be felicitous.

4. Sūrat al-Nisā’ 1

In the Name of Allah,
the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.

1 O mankind!
Be wary of your Lord
who created you from a single soul,
and created its mate from it,
and, from the two of them, scattered numerous men
and women.

1 The sūrah makes frequent reference to matters concerning women (nisā’), hence its name.
